More and more people, when an insured event occurs, realize that they have a false policy and cannot benefit from the insured amounts. As a result, they are forced to seek justice in court, paying all expenses out of their own pocket and bearing all the losses.
Pay attention to where you purchase your insurance! Avoid buying policies from street vendors! Conclude insurance contracts only at the offices and authorized points of sale of insurers and insurance intermediaries, a list of which can be found on the website of the supervisory authority www.cnpf.md. The insurer's (reinsurer's) office must be located in an administrative building or on the ground floor of a residential building. The entrance to the office must display a sign bearing the name of the insurer (reinsurer).
Check whether the sales agent, broker or online insurance website clearly displays contact details and distinctive elements such as (where applicable): office address, license, state identification number, contact phone number, etc. Insurance (reinsurance) activity may be carried out only by insurers (reinsurers) that have obtained an operating license under the law.

Always request the issuance of a fiscal receipt. Check that the price indicated on the fiscal receipt matches the price stated in the contract and in the issued policy.
Check the validity of your AUTO insurance online. Starting from 01.02.2013, the MTPL insurance policy and the Green Card certificate are processed only online, through the State Automated Information System RCA Data. Their validity can be checked at the web address: rca.cnpf.md .
Verify the purchased policy by calling directly the insurance company in whose name it was issued. One way malicious sales agents falsify a policy is by filling out the form without entering the information into the insurance company's database.
