International Insurance Company "TRANSELIT" SA is a company that offers its clients a wide range of general insurance products. The Transelit joint venture was registered on the Moldovan market on October 16, 2002.

The company obtained its first license for mandatory civil liability insurance for a period of 5 years. Thanks to the perseverance shown by Transelit, on November 25, 2007 it became the holder of licenses for insuring both people and property, and by 2016 it was operating with 20 types of insurance.

From its founding to the present, Transelit has implemented a large number of changes and development measures aimed at increasing the number of its territorial networks and introducing new voluntary insurance products. Initially, the Transelit joint venture's insurance activity was planned to take place in Edinet district, only to later, thanks to its performance and the trust of its clients, expand across all districts of the country.

The results for which Transelit is appreciated illustrate the rational and concrete effects of well thought-out actions taken daily by Transelit's employees, whose number grew from 69 people in 2002 to more than 350 employees in 2016.

TRANSELIT's range of services is available within 16 classes of insurance:

• Class 1 Accident insurance, including workplace accidents and occupational diseases.
• Class 2 special terms for travel medical insurance abroad.
• Class 3 land vehicles other than railway vehicles, special terms for voluntary AutoCasco vehicle insurance.

The list could continue up to Class 16, which covers financial loss insurance, terms related to additional expenses for trip cancellation risk or trip date changes, and special terms for financial-commercial risk insurance.
