Group accident insurance provides financial protection to a company's employees in the event of unforeseen accidents that may occur both at the workplace and outside it.

Employee accident insurance covers unforeseen events that may occur while performing work duties, including commuting to and from work, resulting in injury, disability, or death caused by:

blows, falls, slips, punctures, accidental cuts
sudden asphyxiation caused by gas/vapor emissions
road traffic accidents
accidents caused by the operation of machines, devices, equipment, or tools
the effects of sunstroke and prolonged exposure to heat or cold

Coverage details

- Benefit paid to the heirs of the insured's beneficiary – Covers death resulting from an accident occurring during the policy period, within a maximum of 1 year from the date of the accident or illness. Beneficiaries will receive the chosen insured sum.
- Benefit paid to the insured – Covers permanent partial or total disability occurring within a maximum of 1 year from the accident or from diagnosis made during the covered period.
- Partial disability – the benefit is calculated by applying the percentage corresponding to the assessed disability, based on medical documents, to the insured sum, cumulatively up to the contracted insured sum limit.
- Total disability – the benefit is paid based on a decision assigning disability group I or II, matching the situation described and agreed in the contract, or by adding up to a maximum of 100% the percentages obtained for an insured event, corresponding to the chosen insured sum.
- Benefit paid to the insured – Coverage from the first day of hospitalization due to an accident or illness, provided there were at least 3 consecutive days of hospitalization, up to a maximum of 180 days within one year from the date of the accident.
- Benefits are paid for expenses caused by the accident, incurred within 2 years from the date of the accident, up to the limit set in the insurance policy. Expenses in case of an accident are:
  (1) Treatment expenses – expenses incurred to remedy the consequences of the accident, on the doctor's recommendation and under their supervision. These also include the Insured's transport costs resulting from an insured event, as well as the cost of a plastic limb prosthesis and a dental prosthesis. Expenses related to rehabilitation and physiotherapy, organ transplants, and psychotherapy treatment are not reimbursed. (2) Rescue expenses – expenses incurred if the Insured:
  (2.1) has suffered an accident or become lost in the mountains or in water and needs shelter;
  (2.2) has died as a result of an accident or of becoming lost in the mountains or in water and needs to be recovered. Rescue expenses are proven costs related to transport carried out by specialized emergency services to the nearest hospital, the nearest doctor, or the first passable road.
  (3) Recovery transport expenses – transport costs caused by the accident and recommended by a doctor for the injured Insured, outside their area of residence, from the accident site to the hospital where the Insured was taken after the accident, or to the hospital closest to their home. In case of a fatal accident, the costs of transporting the deceased to their last place of residence in the Republic of Moldova are also covered.
- In case of fractures resulting from an accident, the Insurer will pay a one-time benefit set out in the insurance policy, regardless of the number of bones fractured in the accident.
